DeeJay SchmeeJay
I like the new "Edit Video" layout - and I like the ability to add chapters manually. But I miss the ability to skip forward or backward by approximately 30 seconds via a key command like we were able to in Toast 10. Not having this feature makes finding edit points a painful process, especially in long videos. The new Roxio Video Player has this ability and it would be great if it was included in the editor. tsantee
Good suggestion. This editor is developed by Roxio whereas the previous one came from El Gato. So hopefully they don't believe they're done with it as it is completely under their control to make it better. Neither the editor nor the new Roxio Video Player worked well for me with a HD Tivo Transfer. When I move the playhead with either one I get the spinning ball and the application stops responding, requiring a force quit. I haven't had time yet to test with other resolutions of Tivo captures. The editor and player seem to work well with other sources.
