Question

Hi all , am havibg problems with MY DVD. I select 2d m set the project to NTSC wide and then select the movie.The movie is some 2hrs 30 mins long and has some 23 chapters, which the program see as movies ( strange that ) but although it seems to laos and a pop up lists the movies I get an error every time.c2000003.I am running a duel core at 3ghz with 4 gig ram and lots of spare hard disk space and windows 7 ultimate is the op sys

A standard 4.7GB DVD can only hold 60 minutes of video at the best quality (HQ) setting. Trying to squeeze 2.5 hours of video on the DVD (using Fit-to-disc??) will require heavy compression and usually corrupt the menu as well as make the video very poor quality.

 

You have not described at all how you set up your menu structure. What do you mean by 23 chapters? Are they separate video clips you added indicidually? If yes then they will appear as movies (titles in the video terminology) on the menu pages. Chapters refer you sub-divisions for a single title just like on commercial DVDs.

 

You cannot set the movie to widescreen in myDVD, all you set is the menu. Your movie has to be in widescreen before yopu add it in myDVD.
