When playing a DVD on CinePlayer 5 on my HP Pavilion Media Center PC, I have fine video but the audio is a repititous clicking? Can anyone help me with this problem?

Have you gone to the settings tab under tools in CinePlayer and selected the right options?

What OS do you have and is it set properly?

Actually, now the clicking has stopped but now I have no audio. I am using a HDMI cable and the settings are set for that in CinePlayer as is in the Control Panel on my Vista OS.

Explain your setup/connections in detail?

Explain your setup/connections in detail?

I am running Vista for Windows and I have an HP w2207h monitor with imbedded speakers. Connection is via HDMI cable. In Control Panel under Sound, the default is set to Realtek HDMI Output and sound is working in all apps except when playing a movie DVD and running Roxio CinePlayer 5 or Windows Media Player. All I get is a constant clicking. Note that when playing a music CD in Windows Media Player that audio works perfectly.

So you are not getting audio with WMP and a DVD. Is that correct? It sounds like a Vista issue or an HDMI issue; not a Roxio issue. That narrows it down quite a bit.
