Creator 2011 Will No Longer Recognize Disc

NavyDoc

Question

I recenty purchased and loaded Creator 2011 pro onto my Dell XPS running Windows Vista 32bit, ATI Radeon HD2400 video card, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 procesor and 3.00 Gb RAM.

I have managed to convert several cassette tapes and burn them to a CD with no problems. This past weekend I converted a few tapes and when I went to burn them I recieved a message to insert a blank disc. I checked the disc and it showed as being blank. Placed the disc back into the tray and got the same message again. My system uses the TSST Corp DVD+-RW TSH653B with the D300 upgrade.

I have burned cds using the other apps with in the program with no problem. Just can't to analog conversions.

Any help?

Download, and install, the PX engine in the following link:

NavyDoc, you need to explain exactly what your doing in what applications of your C2011 software.

That is the software your using a retail bought copy of Roxio Creator 2011?

Use the exact application names and every detail step by step, otherwise we don't know what your doing.

I recenty purchased and loaded Creator 2011 pro (purchased retail)onto my Dell XPS running Windows Vista 32bit, ATI Radeon HD2400 video card, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 procesor and 3.00 Gb RAM.

I am using the app "music and audio" for digitizing lps and cassettes. The music is transfered from my cassette player via 3mm jack to the microphone jack on the computer. When I open the app I highlite the source as "microphone" and start the recording. Once the tape is done I can highlght any of the imported songs and it will play. I next input the title etc and click "next". Here I clean up and enhance the music and then click "next". I then click "add CD text to audio cd" and "maximise volume". I then click "burn audio cd". A window will pop up asking to install a cd. After putting in a blank cd a messge pops up to insert a blank cd.

As I explained in my first post just after installing it worked fine and I converted several tapes to audio cd. Now it won't even after trying to install the PX engine. The install was done through install wizard that automatically pops up when I install any program.

I am no computer wizard by any means so I thank you for your patience and help

Go to Device Manager, right click on the CD burner, and select Uninstall. Click OK, or whatever is listed for confirmation, then get out of Device Manager, and reboot your computer. Then try burning a CD again.

NavyDoc,

I tried to reproduce your problem and can't!

I get this with a empty disc.

And what happened when I put in a disc that is already burned!

Two options if the drive works with other programs.

1.Put the Creator disc in a drive and when the installer offers choose the repair option, service packs to the Roxio program will have to be reinstalled.

2. Try the Export Tracks option and use Music Disc Creator to burn them as a Audio CD project.
