Good Enough To Use Laptop As Only Display?

DJNorris

Question

I have a Corei5 Laptop with Nvidia 325M video card. I am just wondering if instead of using the game capture to record if I can just use it to make my laptop a display that I can use to play games. Can I play fullscreen, in real time, without a ton of delay? If I can I will buy this in a heartbeat!

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question. This software is designed to CAPTURE your game play for sharing but it will NOT allow you to play games.

In theory you can. 480p only but normaly USB hardware have some delay/lag with capture/preview audio+video. For fullscreen have thirdy softwares. Try before to buy this.

You can't, not even in theory. Please do not give false information.

You must not know the meaning of theory.

Practice is one thing, theory is another.

In pratice you can make it so. Maybe delay...Maybe.

if you want to prove it, I'll send via PM.

Hard I give false information. all the forums I frequent I am much more known for resolving the things when people think is hard.

You should be able to. It's a pass through device, and it displays the video being input into the device in a slightly delayed fashion on the pc screen.

I used it tonight to play while I was testing capturing some files. It's not an ideal way to play though, the delay on your screen, especially while capturing will get in a way of a lot of fast and games that require fast response.
