On Snow Leopard any version the 'Mount It' contextual item is NEVER available when right clicking on a 'Sd2f' audio disc image. In fact nor does Toast 10 or 9 but it does for Toast 8.
Obviously I trashed everything Roxio and Toast related on my machine, cleared all user and system caches. When setting up each version of Toast I elected to install the 'Toast It' & 'Mount It' contextual menu items. Annoyingly, this just refuses to work for 'Sd2f' audio disc images., for sure 'Toast it' appears but not 'Mount it' and this is the most important. Crazily if i right click a dmg, img, cdr or iso the 'Mount it' item appears int he contextual menu, but again most importantly is that 'Sd2f' refuses to display this option.
So why is Roxio refusing to allow Toasts' 'Mount It' menu item function on 'Sd2f' images. obviously this has NOT been working at all on Snow Leopard for multiple major versions of Toast. Surely someone would have noticed this over the past few years? It still works with Toast 8!!! I'd still use 8 but only in 11 have Roxio FINALLY fixed the issue of the open save dialogs refusing to remember the previous size and position and column widths (in column view) after a user adjusts them (a left over from the Carbon days). I don't like paying for missing functionality and bug fixes, nor do I appreciate the massively over bloated applications size, I just want to burn audio CD's sheesh.
