Interface Error: -16434 The Connection Is Not Stable

This is incredibly frustrating but I've got this "interface erro: -16434 the connection is not stable" which has come after "the drive reported an error sense key medium error".

 

I thought by changing the write speed I might be able to solve the "sense key error" but all that's happened is it's created a "connection' error.

 

Unless I can find out what on earth "interface error: -16434 the connection is not stable" actually means, my purchase of Popcorn 4 has become a rather expensive white elephant.
