Adding Slow Motion

Question

Hi there am making a video in roxio creator 2011 am on the roxio video wave production and there is a video which i added to the timeline an i want to add slow motion to this video but not to the entire video only part of it, i have been reading a lot and i have not find the answer can someone please help am very very new to this please be gentle with the answer am slow,

Using the timeline:

 

create a split point at the start of the section you want in slow motion and another split point at the end. Then select the section for slow motion by right clicking on it. From the drop-down menu select Trim and you should see a slider called Speed. Adjust it to get the speed you want.
