Copy Video File

jpmeyers

Question

After re-installing Windows XP and media creator 9 I attempted to copy an unprotected dvd this worked fine. But, I then tried to copy from a Video file. When I browse for a file on HD, I find the file but I can not select the file for copying. I have tried on several files and none work. I have Windows XP SP3 and media player 10 installed. Functions worked before reinstalling windows and media creator. Also files will copy on another computer.

What program from EMC 9 are you using to copy the file. I assume you actually mean that you want to burn the file to a disc as a data file. If this is not the case then please explain more on what you are trying to do.

What does "I can not select the file for copying" mean? Do you get an error message or what?

Using Disk Copier

Select CD and DVD Copy

Using browse function to select source. I select a "VIDEO_TS" folder for copying. The folder does not seem to be reconized and does not display as a source. It will not even preview. There are no error codes at all.
