The Heebie Jeebies

I've noticed when recording my VHS tapes to DVD,I get the heebie jeebies during the recording process. There is this jumping during the recording and it shows up after the burn. Quite annoying. Can anything be done to stop this? Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.

Try a known 'good source' like using a DVD Player and long disc to make a test capture...
