Can I Shut Off Encoding Preview Window?

MetalMike666

Question

I've been using Easy VHS to DVD to convert all my old VHS, VHS-C, and Video 8 tapes of my children to HQ (.avi) files on my PC. It has worked perfectly so far ... I'm very happy with this product (as well as the support on this forum).

Now I'm starting to burn them to DVDs. While encoding the movie it shows an "Encoding preview" window of the video. Is there a way to turn off this video window, while maintaining the "Overall progress" and "Current task" slider progress bars? I've got an older 'single core' 3.0 GHz Pentium processor and I don't know if this "Encoding preview" window impacts performance.

If it has no impact on CPU/memory performance ... well, then never mind.

Thanks, Mike.

The window will have some effect on the encoding performance time but it is propably not even noticeable. In any case it cannot be turned off.
