I really have Easy Creator LE - Dell Edition, so I just chose EMC 8 as maybe about the same time frame, as my PC is from 2006. It uses XP.
I am looking for the values to set up for the UpperFilters and LowerFilters in the registry entry 4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318. The Roxio Knowledgebase says to use RoxAssist, but it is not on my system.
I had problems before with the CD Drive letter disappearing, and I restored it by deleting the UpperFilters and LowerFilters. After that everything seemed fine in accessing the CD Drive, but I hadn't tried to use Easy Creator until now. I discovered that Easy Creator cannot find any Drive when I want to burn a CD. I believe it needs certain values in the registry for the UpperFilters and LowerFilters.
If someone can check the values they have for these filters and let me know, I can try them.
I have used successfully another program to burn a CD since Roxio did not work, but I would like to use Roxio.
