Loss of sound when making project using mpg format

I converted TS_VIDEO.VOB from a sony dvd camera minidisc to mpg using capture/import (version 8).

 

Using either auto-edit or manual cinemagic, the files form a movie without issue... until I preview it or go to burn it using MyDVD 8. I lose the audio tracks from the original footage (didnot add any other audio).

This is by design. You are suppose to add you own audio track because Cinemagic/Auto Edit will randomly cut/edit different scenes from the video.
