Burning A Dvd With Different Languages

lperez24

Question

I've been looking for a way to burn a movies onto a dvd using toast and burning it like a real dvd. When i burn it i want the DVD to have different language like spanish and english. I also wanted to know how to add subtitles in spanish and english to movies before burning it on toast. Lastly is there a way to customze a menu for the DVD on tast like in IDVD? All the help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can't do those things with Toast. Toast will include multiple language tracks and subtitles when copying an existing video DVD that has those present but it cannot author a new video DVD in that way. Toast also has a static menu so it cannot create menus similar to iDVD.

The DVD authoring application that has features like you're describing is DVD Studio Pro that I believe is only available as part of Final Cut Studio from Apple for $999. Given the complexity of the DVD you are wanting to create you may want to find a company or individual that does this work for a fee.
