This was answered yesterday for the Roxio Game Capture Software, I'm guessing it is the same for all Roxio Software involving YouTube..

Hey Everybody -

I'm waiting for final approval on this article re the YouTube upload limit, but here is the draft that will probably go up this week:

"Roxio Game Capture uses the YouTube SDK which currently limits uploads to 10 minutes. If you wish to upload videos longer than 10 minutes, you will need to export your videos as files to your hard drive and upload via YouTube's website."

I think you have to set up your account on youtube.com first, making note of your login and password to enter them in Roxio when you go to upload.

Youtube raised its limit to 15 minutes last year I think and then a few months ago raised it to over 15 minutes for accounts which had not broken Youtube terms of service by violating copyrights.

Hi MMK

See the quote that CD provided earlier.

After following Karri's advice of setting up YouTube first, try a 10 minute or less clip to see if it works. Again, the YouTube SDK (plug-in) we use for Game Cap is creating the limitation in our software. However, anybody wanting to post over 15 minutes on YouTube is by invite only from YouTube and should be addressed in your YT account info.
