bassonline
Just got new i7 computer and went to install 2011 Roxio Disc and it gives me invalid Product key? I know it's right because I have the factory disc I purchased with it written on it. Any suggestion would be grateful...
Beerman
Make sure your time and date of the computer are correct and also check that you didn't type a zeroes in place of the letter 'O' and vice versa. There were problems years ago with older version but your the first I've seen this happen to in this version.

Thanks for the quick reply, Time and date are right on the money, as well as the product key....this one has no O or 0 pretty simply!

I've never seen a Roxio product installation disc with the CD Key written on it! My C2011 Pro 2 disc's came in a white paper sleeve with clear window. The CD Key XX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and TSID # XXXXXXXXXXXX are printed on the back of the paper sleeve.

gi7omy
There's no 'validation' used (that's an online process where the app links to the company registration serevrs and Roxio haven't used that for years) What app are you using, what OS and what error messages are you getting?
