Dvd To Dvd

s32144

Question

I have DVDs that I want to copy to DVD and also old VHS tapes that I want to copy to DVD. Yesterday I purchased Roxio VHS to DVD and the young man at Best Buy said that software would work for both; however, now that I am home and looking at it it doesn't say anything about copying DVD to DVD. Can someone confirm that it will before I open the box. I am a novice at this so I try to be certain of what I am doing before I get started.

Thanks for any help someone can give me. :) :) :)

Where did you get the DVDs? If they are commercial DVDs then they are protected and no Roxio program will copy them.

the young man at Best Buy

Won't fall for that one again, will ya?

If they aren't copy protected DVD's download the FREE ImgBurn program,

ImgBurn Current version: 2.5.3.0 (5,262 KB)

http://imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

Put a disc in the drive you want to copy open ImgBurn and choose create image file from disc. It makes a image file from your disc to your hard drive, you choose the location. Then put in a blank DVD disc and choose write image file to disc. Any questions ask..

Hi again,

I installed the software and loaded the first disk on to my hard drive. I see it there and there are two files: ISO Image File and MDS File.

I removed the disk and inserted a blank disk but I don't see "write image file to disc".

Given that I am a little nervous doing something like this for the first time I don't know what to do so am back again asking for your help.

Thanks,
