Burning Dvd From Dual Layered Dvd

I am using Creator 2010 Pro with the latest updates (See attached screen shot file for build) as of 7Pm 4/25/11 and can't create a single layer DVD from a dual layer DVD. It goes through the motions as I would any other standard single layer DVD, but does not finish all steps as seen in attached screen shot. Nothing is on the output DVD. Is there a better way to do this? Thanks

Since you have not told us exactly what you are doing, we cannot tell you if there is a better way.

 

One thing to keep in mind is that a DL DVD most likely has video that is longer then 60 minutes. A standard 4.7GB DVD can hold only 60 minutes at best quality.

Are you using Video Copy and Convert? That should be able to copy your DL to SL but again, you will be losing quality.

 

Remember that no Roxio program will copy/edit, etc commercial discs because of DRM protection.
