Problems With Editing

when i open up roxio and start to edit the video and music the video skips. or freezes. and when you chose the videos from the bottom of the screen to edit the pictures of the video itself is messed up. lines going through it to the point where you cant tell what video it is. hasnt always done this. got it about 3 weeks ago and havent had a problem till now. any suggestions? its the roxio 2011. my friend has a dell comp. 5gb.

Are you in VideoWave or MyDVD? If so, close out of the program, go to wherever you are saving your productions, and you should see 2 files with the name of your production. Delete the one with a .dat file extension. See if that clears up your problem with the lines in the thumbnails.

You posted in the Creator 2010 forum, then you say "its the Roxio 2011", which is it?

 

Also, what does this mean in your last sentence " my friend has a dell comp. 5gb" .
