Try doing it this way. Yes, it takes a bit longer but you should end up with a good burn in a shorter time compared from continuing doing it your way.

Hi I want to burn this to Blu-ray if possible as my final project will be about an hour long, not DVD.I have now turned off anti-virus been into config and only loaded what's necessary.I am encoding from software.

I still only get to 62% or 75%?

Sorry, I should have said to use the same procedure but substitute blu-ray when it says AVCHD. blu-ray disc are either AVCHD format or mog2 format so it really comes down to what you put into your blu-ray burner.

Please tell us about what you are trying to burn. Is it a project that you made in Video Wave or other? Where did the original video(s) come from? I assume that you have several clips from the Sony Cancorder. What format are they? Is it possible that one of the clips is not the same format as the rest? Try again rearranging the clips so that the one where you get the error is at the start of the project. It may just be a bad clip (no being able to play it in WMP) doesn't mean that it is good.

Is your rpoject a combination of video and slide show?

Put the video file in video wave or just open your video wave project and then output it (top menu) to a blu-ray format close to what the original video is. If it completes, then you can just add that video to MyDVD and go from there. if it doesn't encode or stops, then there is something wrong in the video. It could be as simple as trying to use DRM protected mp3 files, a hiccup in the video itself, transitions (if you are using any), etc. Look at about 60 to 75 percent of the duration of the video and the preview should tell you something. Look at both story line for something like double transitions, a question mark,, and in timeline to preview the video.

Sorry, but it really sounds like there is somethign with your project that is giving the problem and nothing in the program itself.
