Diamond Dave UK
I've not visited roxio.com in a very long time, and as a result the email address registered to my account in the Roxio Community is out of date, and I no longer have access to it. I can use this old email address, and my password, to log in, but when I go to change my registered email address, and I have to re-enter my password at this point, I'm told the password is incorrect! The same thing happens when I try to change my password - I'm told the current password is incorrect! This means that it's impossible for me to change my old, out-of-date email address to my new one. This is clearly down to bugs in the Control Panel Settings pages. I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.11 and Safari 4.1.3. Can anyone advise if it's worth my while trying a different browser (or even a PC) or is anyone at Roxio able to sort things out with my account? Many thanks. gi7omy
I suppose a quick fix would be to set up a new account with the new e-mail
Diamond Dave UK
I tried logging in with a PC (running Internet Explorer) with exactly the same results, which suggests that it's not some incompatibility between the site and the Mac OS WebKit. It's more likely bad coding by Roxio, and this wouldn't be the first time - see my topic here. gi7omy - sure I could set up a new account, but that's not the point, is it? I shouldn't have to - the site should work the way it's meant to!

Diamond Dave UK
I contacted Invision - see here - after which I asked Invision if they could contact Roxio, as there doesn't seem to be a way for an end user to contact Roxio about the Community. I was told that they couldn't. Therefore stalemate. It's completely pathetic in my opinion, but not unexpected of course. I suppose all that's left is for me to keep trying to change my email address every so often, to see if the bugs in the Control Panel Settings pages magically fix themselves. I can also keep checking my lottery ticket - I've better odds of winning the jackpot than I have of getting things working properly here I reckon.
