Easy Vhs To Dvd Won't Install

I'm trying to install Easy VHS to DVD. It stops at Status installing DIRECTX 9 runtime and comes up with message "the software you are installing has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatability with Windows XP". At this point it only gives me an OK option which, when chosen, rolls back the installation.

 

• Operating System = Windows XP Home 2002 SP3

• CPU = Intel Core 2duo E6400 2.13hz

• Video card = Nvidia GeForce 8400GS

• Processor speed = 2.13hz

• RAM = 1G DDR2 337

• hard drives: 1x 500GB -307GB free space and 1X 250GB - 151GB free space

Try installing DirectX 9 direct from the Microsoft web site. Then run your installation disc again.

Tried that - received same Logo testing message for it as well. Must be a problem with my system not with Roxio VHStoDVD.
