Any Chance Of An Editor That Works?

loboblanco

Question

We're stuck with the Elgato c**p for edits, which is very hit or miss, mostly the later, which really sucks!!

Any chance of an editor that actually works, at least a majority of the time??

I'm getting a bit frustrated getting 3/4 through an edit and then seeing the forever pinwheel. This is why I gave up on Elgato a year ago. Questionable products and no support....

It's actually pretty hard to write software that screws up OSX, but some companies seem to manage.

Guess I'll be looking for a new video app, getting tired of this...

I've used MPEG Streamclip's trimming function as a workaround. The editor in Toast 11 is completely rebuilt and doesn't use ElGato's player. It is working for me. I don't know if Roxio is going to fix the one in Toast 10. Hope they do.
