d_deweywright Posted May 11, 2011 Report Share Posted May 11, 2011 From what information you've provided, I would guess maybe you've connected the headphone output of your cassette deck to the input of the USB device. If your cassette deck has a set of line-out or "play" RCA jacks, you should use the signal from those, and see if that solves the problem. Or, turn down the volume coming out of the headphone jack till you don't overdrive the inputs on the USB capture device. Hope that helps! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
