Question

I am trying to use this device with Windows 7. I can get the music to record but it is distorted. Maybe you can suggest another device to use. I have used different cassettes and its a no go. Thanks for your time!

From what information you've provided, I would guess maybe you've connected the headphone output of your cassette deck to the input of the USB device. If your cassette deck has a set of line-out or "play" RCA jacks, you should use the signal from those, and see if that solves the problem. Or, turn down the volume coming out of the headphone jack till you don't overdrive the inputs on the USB capture device.

Hope that helps!
