It is probably an installation problem. First do these things even if you have a new computer. Don't skip any steps. TURN OFF YOUR ANTI-VIRUS. Put the program disc back into your computer and when the option comes up, select to repair. After that and your computer reboots, you can turn on your anti-virus

Never use a registry cleaner or you may be going through this exercise again.

Did all the suggestions you gave me and still no result! It will not open.

Anymore suggestions?

You are leaving out details. Do you have

  • <LI hasbox="2">Windows Media® Player 10, 11 or 12
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 8 for registration and updates* (IE 9 , not beta will work also)

When you say it is not opening, please describe any error messages. Can you open it from the Windows - Programs selection? Did you have your anti-virus OFF?

As a last resort, download REVO Uninstaller and Uninstall the program using the MODERATE Mode. There will be a large number of registry entries for the program. make sure you select all and delete them. Reboot, turn off your anti-virus and reinstall. Revo is a free program that you can get from cnet.com.

When you first installed the program, did your computer read the disc properly or where there some hiccups? Please be a little more wordy; you need to draw a picture for us. What is your computer experience?

Just to cover the obvious, did you have the capture device plugged in when you installed the program AND are you sure that the program isn't opening minimized (at the bottom tool bar)?
