CRJ
I recently (Jan 2011) bought a Dell XPS 501 Laptop with Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning installed at the facotry. Now when I callup the program, under destination selection I get a bold message NO Drive Detected. If I uninstall what came with the machine, How do I download new drivers and software to make this thing work? CRJ
Jim_Hardin
The Dell OEM (10.3?) is not the same as the Roxio Red Box version but very similar First thing you want to do is download a copy of your software from Dell! If you have any questions or problems with that, CALL THEM! They will point you to the place to download your apps. After that, BURN a copy onto a DVD and store it away. Use Windows built in burning. Then follow MicroSoft’s Instructions, HERE. Reboot and let us know where you stand. If there are error message, always post their text.
