Installation Cd Will Not Install

Just bought this software tonight and tried to install.

 

I put the cd in my laptop. The Autoplay dialogue appeared and I clicked install. It started the set-up and I answered all the questions such as language, entered the key, where I wanted to save the file, etc. Then I noticed the installation bar stopped moving. After twenty minutes, I tried looking at the task manager to see if the program was running or not responding - it wouldn't open. Computer would not shut down and I had to hold in the off button to shut it down.

 

Rebooted my computer. Checked for windows updates - said it wanted to install service pack 2. I installed.

 

Rebooted again, tried to install again and it gets locked up in the same place.

 

I'm not every computer savvy so any help (in detail )would be greatly appreciated. I have Windows Vista 64 bit service pack 2 - if you need to know that.

Possibly a problem reading the disc. Try copying the entire disc to your hard drive. If that completes successfully, try running the install from the copy on your HD. If you get an error reading the disc, then that's the likely culprit.

It loaded to my hard drive without an issue. Tried installing and it stops in the same place. Do I need to exchange it for a new one?

Don't post them on the board as they contain the CD Key.

 

I will send you a email address through a board Personal Message, up top middle (Messenger (1 New). Email the zip Installation file to me.
