Roxio Creator Pro Error Messages

(I did this 3 times already over and over same message) if I click ok it will go through and reboot over and over. If I click cancel it will close but now when I click on Create DVD I get ERROR:Unable to Load Skin. I have updated all windows updates etc. Win 7 64bit Quad Everything updated I am a tech guy this program worked fine since it came out. I purchased it online through download (no Disk) Any ideas???

Just checking - please confirm that you are running Creator 2011 and not siomehting you downloaded from Dell or similar.

As a tech guy, you did have your anti-virus and registry cleaners OFF when you did the install, didn't you? Also as a tech guy, you obviously made a back up of the download

 

Do this first.

 

Keep the anit-virus OFF and reinstall the program from the download on your computer.

 

As a tech guy, you know that registry cleaners are a waste and worse in this case.

 

If that doesn't work, come back and let us know. so that we can offer other suggestions.

Yes I am using 2011, I am using avast antivirus I disabled it but noticed it was still running then I shut down the service and started roxio fresh and still errors. I tried the Error: Unable to load skin by installing the MSXML 4.0 file and it did nothing still same issue. I also updated drivers etc. What I don't understand was this was fine 2 weeks ago why all of a sudden? I made no changes to my PC.

After all of the nonsense issues with Roxio I decided to Run this is the Virtual XP mode. I tried to launch the create DVD app and I get an error stating this can't run remotely? Whats the point then?

Compatibility Mode was put into Win7 for older MS programs!

 

Very, very few programs will run under it and Roxio will not!
