Elion
Another question "Does this help explain it?" The game is outputting at 1080, you see that on the image.!
tbrewst
That's not necessarily true. Your XBox is set to enable 1080i output but what resolution is the game you're playing? If the game is in 720 then that's all you get out. If the game is in 1080 then that's what you'll get out. Look on the back of the game box and where the little boxes are that tell you how many players and things, one of those boxes should tell you the resolution of the game. If the game is outputting in 1080 then that article wouldn't apply.Plus it's for a PS3 but it could be the same for the XBox. One thing I did notice is you're set to NTSC_433.Is that correct?I think I've seen that this should be NTSC_M.I may be totally wrong about that but it seems I've read that somewhere in these posts. I tried ntsc_m , and the game outputs to 1080i , thats guaranted. its back on the box and its the TV tells me its 1080i also in the info box. tbrewst
I just got the device and my first impression is what you're seeing. My results are pretty much the same as yours. The picture is fairly blurry and I don't even have the TV part hooked up,just connected to PC. I haven't tried anything yet to see if I can figure out a solution. I'll post again if I find anything out.

Cauptain
why is it having choices of 720/1080i then in the settins menu... INPUT only...You can not connect/set your video game on 1080p. Not working on RGC. Remember, RGC have a passthroug max 1080i resolution. Claudio
Guest ivanatrox
why is it having choices of 720/1080i then in the settins menu... That's the Input (shown beside the drop down menu) from your console and passthrough to your TV which is why you are able to play the games at 720p/1080i resolution on your TV. It does not indicate the resolution the video is recorded at. Ivan
