Problems With Some Programs In ''easy Cd And Dvd Burning''

Hi !

 

I recently have problems whit some programs of my roxio ''Easy cd and DVD burning'' When i cilck on audio capture or disk creator the program appear in the taskbar but wont open in my screen, it stuck there in taskbar. I click on it but no can do it wont run the program... HELP !!! Did i do something wrong whitout noticing it ??

First we need to know exactly what program and version you are using. Read this and reply.

 

Did this just start happening? I notice that Windows is using a different language than the program. Did you do this purposely? Sometimes that is a problem.

this might help about information for roxio version: RoxiAudio Capture 9 AnalogRec9. Ok about the language its cause im french but it doesnt affect the problem lol! My roxio was working fine before ,its just like one week ago it started to malfunction. something is blocking those programs in my roxio. maybe i push some button somewhere in my computer that lock some features ,i realy dont know. maybe someone has the same problem and can help me.

I'm still not sure what you have. It appears that you may have an OEM version of Easy Media Creator 9. Open the HOme page of the program and take a screen capture. Post that picture in this thread.

From post #1 [the name and the color of the Roxio disc icon] and post #3 [the number 9 in the modules the OP quotes], the Original Poster seems to have Version 9 of Easy CD & DVD Burning.

 

This can be confirmed if he looks in C:\Program Files\Roxio, where he should find this lineup

If he double-clicks on the HTML file at the bottom of the list, he should get to see the 2007 ReadMe file.

Ok here a screenshot. the thing is my programs was working fine before something is blocking those programs in taskbar,did you ever see this kind of problem before ? and i see that i maybe have to update my roxio, can it be a reason why its not working anymore but i dont see any udate of my roxio on the site execpt some creator 2011

I didn't realise that you could run your main menu that you showed above. Since you can, probably the easiest way to find your version number is to go to Help [Aide] in the top bar, and click on "About this software" [or French equivalent]. That should show a box with your version number, build, and serial number. Don't tell us the serial number, but the version will probably be 9.0.554 or something close to that. What does it show please?

 

The usual problem with version 9 when parts stop working, is that using a registry cleaner breaks the serial number entry. However that usually doesn't kill just the Audio Capture and Disc Creator.

 

Do you have your installer disc? If you have it, I would recommend that you uninstall and then reinstall Easy CD & DVD Burning. That should restore the program to factory condition, as long as you haven't upgraded your Operating System, or Windows Media Player, or Internet Explorer. This program suite won't work in Windows 7, and can be killed by newer versions of I.E. or WMP.

 

Talking about updates - there are no updates for any version of Easy CD & DVD Burning. It is just a cheap, cut-down version of Easy Media Creator [EMC] with some of the most useful parts removed - a gelding or eunuque. You can buy version 10 which will work in Windows 7, but it is still a cut-down version of EMC 10 from 3 years back which has been altered to work in Windows 7, and it has been made very limited.

 

Please do that check through the Aide button, and tell us your version number.

Hi ! Well i uninstall the program a couple of time and still it dont work. So i'm gonna uninstall the program for good and buy another one like nero because it's the second time i have problem whit this product and i think i should'nt have any problems when you buy a product...i never gonna buy a roxio program again sorry but its like that. Thanks a lot for the reply and trying to help me i appreciate a lot... ; )

Last resort Go to cnet.com and download REVO Uninstaller. Use that to remove the program and the safe to uninstall registry items. Use the Moderate Mode. Update your computer by doing these things (link). Don't skip anything. Reinstall..

Don't compare apples to oranges. Nero is a full service suite (almost) and is more comparable to the Creator series (2009, 2010, 2011).
