Easy Cd Dvd Pc Issue

I have installed Easy CD & DVD Burning Windows 7 update (Red box) and it works fine as an application on Windows XP Prof SP3 but it seems to have impacted the volume available via the PC speakers which previously could be very loud, now sound is only just audible.

 

Has anybody else encountered this and found a solution please?

Have you checked the Volume Control settings in you Win 7. Right click on the speaker icon in the task bar, select playback devices, and check the volume settings.

Thanks I'll look at that although I am running XP SP3 but as I recall there is a similar icon
