Video Copy And Convert - 5.1 Audio And Wmv

ClayH

Question

I would like to use Creator 2011 Video Copy and Convert to convert some video (extracted DVD, VOB files, non commerical) to WMV and retain the 5.1 audio. However there does not seem to be an option to do this. Has anyone done this (am I just missing it)?

Windows 7 64 bit, Creator 2011

thanks,

Clay

Probably(???) for another type of player, like a Tablet but he wants to retain the higher quality audio...

I don't think anything in Roxio will output 5.1 audio in a Video file, other than a Straight Disc Copy

As for why... Jim was right - just want in a compressed format to use with my media center pc and xbox (xbox will not stream vob files). I looked at all of the options and this feature did not seem to be there but thought I would ask just in case I was missing something. Thanks for the feedback.

VOB files are just mpg2 files in disguise. All you have to do is change the extension. No need to use Creator at all if the xbox will stream the mpg2 files.
