Cauptain
Cauptain, does your "NB" stand for Mother Board (MB)? Mufka15, your CPU is running at 74 degrees Celsius = 165.2 degrees Fahrenheit and your Mother Board (MB) at 71 degrees Celsius = 159.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Your graphics chip on the Mother Board could be overheating and causing the problems your seeing. Is this a laptop? You need to change the environment and cool the PC down. Hi cdanteek, My "NB" on post is equal Notebook. Mufka15 use a veryhot notebook really. Maybe this make FPS variable for low. On my netbook RGC work flawless. Then I was trying out different capture software and I got the Magix...., and it stopped working. I'm going to Re-Install the Windows 7 and get XP and Win7, maybe theres something wrong with my settings or maybe there is a file/virus causing all this. Thanks for your time anyways

KreativeGeek
I received my Roxio Game cap through international shipment today, i see no picture on the tv screen, a black screen that comes on momentarily when i put my console on and then the blue screen that normally comes on my philips tv when it is on without any signal. The strange thing is i hear some loose component rolling around in game cap case when i opened it, is my device damaged in shipment? On checking the capture device software on laptop i see jagged blue lines and nothing else

No image? connect your console direct on RGC and look if image is ok on PC software. If OK on PC, try other component cables for TV. Reply. Cauptain
Thank your for post image. Your NB is very hot. Try it. Windows key + R, type msconfig, initialize tab, disable all (include Antivirus), go to last TAB, click in TOOLs , clic in "change config UAC" and START , disable UAC, ok not reboot. Disable system restore, make fixed virtual memory in 4096. After this reboot you NB and try. post results. PS: In Virtualdub set VIDEO PREVIEW. PS2: Enable HIGH PERFORMANCE in ENERGY tab. Its a very important on Notebook or Netbook, plug this in energy too. Claudio

Cauptain
Has no logic to continue to dropped frames You can see the videogame screen in Virtualdub? And in the RGC, you can see normal? Tried changing the USB port? Maybe the port is not transferring correctly. Check your PM. Claudio

I've tryed changing USB ports didn't help. Unfortunately it seems to be hardware problem. Although that could only be sure if you test on another computer. The transfer rate is very low for your USB, something is not being work properly. My ideas have already gone , but try replacing the USB cable that connects RGC to your PC.
