Sauceman
Okay, I just bought this hoping it would be my answer to my cap card needs, but so far it's not looking good. The video in the preview, and the final product, have flickering video. Here's an example: http://youtu.be/Zzrtm8fck88
sknis
http://www.bestbuy.c...1696246&count=1 Do those specs look good? No, do you really need a new monitor and printer? This one looks better. if you want a similar desktop. Would you consider a refurbished laptop? Check Dell Outlet store. (or other outlets). Go to cnet.com for some ratings on computers. oDAZZLAo
I'm having the same problems... I've had it work 3 times properly.... out of about 12 tries.. I've never had any problem with other caps, but this one was meant to be an 'Upgrade' it works fine on my friends computer, but his is just a build for browsing and Streaming... mine is needed for everything in the home, and still has way over the minimum requirements.. I think it''s just a poor quality product

Sauceman
Thanks guys. I went with a Gateway (i5 processor, 1.5 TB hard drive, 6 GB DDR3). The problem is gone, so it was just the processor or video card.
Cauptain
You asked and I answered. If you would have said thse things about buying the computer from a big box store, I would have given you recommendations. What big box stores are near you? Yes, I noticed a difference in the CPU. Your link no longer works so I can't go back and confirm. I thnk it had a dual core processor at 3.2. The one I suggested is an I3 processor (newer). I agree with you. Buy any C2D is waste money. Core I3 has better technology and superior performance at a good price. Your suggestion was excellent for Sauceman. Claudio
sknis
I'm not being defensive. I'm just curious. I want to spend under $500 and I want to buy it in store. I don't want to deal with online or waiting or anything. I'm just truly curious what would make it better. Is it the processor? You asked and I answered. Sauceman
Read up on the CPUs in each unit. You asked and I answered; don't be so defensive about it. I'm not being defensive. sknis
What makes that computer better than my choice? Ignore the combo package, I'm just interested in the specs. I need a new computer, so this is going to happen. I just want one that lets me multi-task and use game capture. Will the computer I linked to meet requirements. If not, why not? Sauceman
I'm gonna guess that it may be a combination of the video chip and your processor. I don't know what processor you have in that computer but looking at a 6150 LE I see that it's a chip built onto the motherboard. That same chipset is often paired with an AMD Athlon or Sempron processor. If you have either of those then they probably will have problems running the software. This is what the system requirements say: Intel® Core 2 Duo Processor 1.8 GHz or AMD Athlon x2 64 2.0 GHz. Either of those is more processor than I'm guessing you may have if the what I looked at at the AMD site is correct. Yeah, I figured it must be something to do with my computer. It's a 6 year old computer, :/ I exchanged it and it's doing the same thing, except now the audio is messing up too. I guess I'll start looking into a new computer since I need one anyway. Thanks guys.

Cauptain
I checked the specs on my computer which is pretty old. Here's the only two that stood out to me. Curious if anyone could inform if they are my problem. Video Card = NVIDIA Geforece 6150 LE Ram = 2.0 (Never added to it) I noticed you need at least 2.0 GB of Ram to run it, but with other stuff in the BG, could the lack of Ram be effecting it?
