out of harms way
Hi - I've been using EMC10 for some time now extremely successfully. There are two features I would love to have - 1. to be able to use a native sound track elsewhere in the movie, e.g. copy and paste into music, fx or narrative tracks. 2. to be able to pan and zoom in a video, as you can with stills. Sounds tricky, but I'm sure it could be possible. Does anyone know whether creator 2011 or any other Roxio product will give me these features? (Or any non-Roxio product for the video pan/zoom). EMC 10 does both of those "features" as does C2009, C2010 and C2011. You extract the audio from the video clip and then add it to one of the audio tracks. Pan&Zoom for video works the same as with photos but is more difficult to set up since the "focus" may be moving about.

There is no preview shortcut for pan and zoom on a video in Videowave, so I assumed it didn't exist, But I have now found it, and I was trying to extract the native track from within Videowave (I used "help" to find this one - it can help sometimes!!). They both work a treat. A lesson has been learned!! Many thanks.
