Black And White 360

Atticus

Question

Let me 1st start off by saying I know nothing about HD stuff and only resson I got this was I was told could use the Red,White,Yellow wires to record but I am....Vary vary confused on how set this up due all the vids only talk about HD

There like two topics on this Forum asking about Wii and PS2 and both were replyed with will work but now now to set it up at all?

So on with the show I did try as video said turned HD on the cable....nothing would show up on my TV I could hear sound

I get Video but its all B&W in standerd in 480p others wont show anything on TV

On the Software I had to set it to d80/576I to get anything to show and its set to NTSC_M (My TV is Magnavox if that helps any)

Again I would like to point out am Useing Red, White, Yellow Cables of the 360

Hi Atticus

Complicated, because at no point is saying that any console uses RCA cable (Yellow, Red and White). Whatever said cable component.

No way to work in the RGC with RCA cable, only via component.

Wii and PS2 have a component cable too. Because this work like a charm on RGC (480ip or 576ip).

You can solve this, but would involve additional hardware(s), will buy a component cable for your x360.

Your tv has COMPONENT input? If not you can buy a COMPONENT to RCA CONVERTER.

Look here: Component to RCA Converter

Any questions, reply only.

Ok didnt know that *dont know all the wire type lingo*

My 360 did come with the Split HD wires so I fig I try that and I got it to work fine

But seeing as the Yellow, White, Red can work *with only makeing it black & white tho* I was wondering is there a Converter that takes the Yellow, Red and White cables and sends out HD Green, Blue, Red?

Hello Atticus,

There. but very expensive. Look here: COMPOSITE TO COMPONENT CONVERTER

You'd better buy a x360 COMPONENT CABLE + COMPONENT TO COMPOSITE CONVERTER. Much cheaper.
