Hello,

You haven't said which application you're using to make your CDs, but I guess it would have to be "Create Audio CD for Car or Home CD Player".

This application is set to automatically write the CD-Text information you're talking about, and I don't actually know a way to turn that off.

When making the CD you can enter/edit the properties for tracks or the album by highlighting the track, and clicking on the blue 'I' button, when you'll see the edit box open. Make sure whatever you want shows in there.

Please check and see if the CD-Text information is going onto the CD or not. It probably is, but your player isn't showing it.

There are very few computer CD players which actually display this information. Windows Media Player won't show it unless you install a special add-on, and even Windows Explorer only shows a 'place-marker' virtual CDA file instead of the named music track.

A good, safe, and small CD player which will display the CD-Text, is the HACP player. It's a free, small, safe download from numerous sites on the Internet. One place is HERE but make sure you download the HACP player, not the commercial software they're trying to sell you.

Here is the one-track audio CD I made minutes ago with Creator 9's "Create Audio CD . . . ." seen in Windows Explorer.

Here is the same disc, displayed in the HACP player:

It did work. :)
