Lightscribe

Ron360

Question

Using the lightscribe function in RC 11 is very perplexing.... I want to use a photo I have on my pc but it doesn't seem to let me resize it... I must not be clicking on the right things because I don't see any resizing options

If someone could take me step by step in Roxio Creator 11 or guide me to a website with current instructions so I could do that it would be greatly appreciated. Lightscribe info has very outdated instructions.

I used to use Nero 8 and it was a breeze to resize and move text around the to anywhere I want.

Any help with resizing a photo in Lightscribe via Roxio Creator 11 would be appreciated

Are you working in Label Creator? If so add the image by clicking on Add Image (not Edit Background). If the Add Image button is grayed out, click on Select Style and select one of the styles (NOT a Lightscribe style). IIRC, that should enable the Add Objects tools. Once you add your image using Add Image, you should be able to resize your image.

Yes i was in label creator and your instructions worked perfectly, thank you so much!

I don't know why Roxio has it set up that way. Seems like a very unnecessary extra step (having to first choose a style before you add the image, then

not choosing lightscribe (very counter intuitive since lightscribe is what your attempting to doing)...Lastly they don't even tell you how to do it.

I'm glad that you got it working. I'm not sure why it is that way. Maybe back in the day Lightscribe could only use certain layouts and LC hasn't been updated. That's just a guess though. Thanks for letting us know what worked for you :)
