Can't Create Dvd

cardiactiger

Question

I had Roxio Creator 2009 on old computer and liked it. My new computer would not support it, so I had to download Roxio Creator 2011 on line and paid extra for the disk to be mailed to me. There was an error on the internet download, so when I received the disk in the mail, I downloaded it on my computer. No instructions came, but I thought it would work the same way as the old version. When I try to create a dvd, while I am choosing pictures to add to the slide, it will start generating the dvd even though I am holding the control button down and still choosing pictures. Then, when I try to review project, all the pictures go through, but when I try to burn, the only slide that burns is the first slide. What is the problem??

I am sorry but I can't follow how you are creating your project. Please give a step-by-step listing of your process.

Usually you create/assemble a video project using Edit Video-advanced (Videowave). You save this as a project file with the extension dmsm.

You then exit Videowave and launch Create DVDs (myDVD), select your menu style etc and then using the Add Movie task you add the previously created dmsm project. You then click burn to burn your project to a DVD.
