Easy Vhs To Dvd

Just installed Easy VHS to DVD on my PC (Windows 7 64bit).

 

Seemed to set up OK but I have 2 questions I hope you clever people can answer.

 

1 My VCR ONLY has a SCART output and an in/out TV ariel. I have installed a SCART to Red, Yellow White jack plugs that then connect to the dongle that comes with the Easy VHS software package. Then plug this into the USB port. Will this work as I get No Video Signal in the black screen and cant capture any video.

 

2 I wanted to record my VHS recodings to a USB Hard Drive but it seems to want a DVD which I did not want to do. I did put in the recordable DVD to get rid of the little yellow warning triangle but can't proceed because of problem #1.

 

Any help appreciated. I am wondering if problem 1 is as a result of problem 2.

Its possible that the Scart you installed is the wrong type, try one like this http://www.amazon.co...41109242&sr=8-1 .
