Question

Can anyone please tell me what directory/folder the template/files/thumbnail are when making a label in Roxio Creator 2010/Win 7?

usng Roxio Exress Labelel, then select style to get a background for dvd or jewel case. No option to go outside of labeler to get thumbnail/picture, etc. stored in other directories?

Thank you

George

Use "Create Label -Advanced" . When it opens, select "edit background". A window will open. At the top of the window there is the option to use an image as the background. Browse to the image and then select to use it.

Thank you very much, your instructions worked perfectly!

I know what directory Surething CD Labeler and what directory Lightscribe uses to store all the template backgrounds, that way I can add/delete any backgrounds not used, add to when I find some. Can you PLEASE tell me what directory Roxio Creator 2010 uses??

Sorry, I don't know and can't seem to find them. Perhaps someone else can help.

For my information only, if you have the Sure Thing Labeler, why are you using the cut down one in Roxio?

Thanks for trying to find that folder. I've seen/gotten many emails from you past 2-3 yrs. and don't think I ever saw you not to be able to answer a posted question. Your always so helpful/patient/knowledgeable. I've been amazed how much you know and how many users you've helped!!!!!!!!!!

I like Surething Labeler too, faily new thou and know Roxio's quicker/better for now till I learn everything about The Surething program.

Thanks again.

George,

When the Express Labeler is running, it's an executable called LCTaskAssistant12.exe. It is found in my Creator 2010 under Windows 7, in the directory I've highlighted below.

I think you'll find the files you want in one of the subdirectories under the Label Creator 12 directory.

Regards,

Brendon

Brendon,

Thank you soooooo much for getting me the directory where Roxio Creator 2010 keeps the thumbnails for the Express Label Creator program! I can now add/delete to this diectory.

Just a FYI, I found my files here:

Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Roxio Shared/12.0/Label Creator 12/Backgrounds/Thumbnails
