Please Help! Can't Start Up Roxio Game Capture Software?

I've recieved my RGC today and I was very exited. At first I had a lot of trouble connecting the device to my xbox 360 and tv, but that is OK now. But I have got a new problem... I installed the program that was on the DVD, but I can't start it up now. Everytime I try to run 'Roxio Game Capture' it shows a white screen/window. I just doesn't do anything. And I've been looking on the internet for people with similar problems all day long, but I really can't find anyone who has the same problem. I think I've tried everything.

 

I hope someone can help me.

No, It's not that. My problem is different. I don't even get a menu or something. I click on my desktop icon and it freezes with that white screen. It's called LaunchPad.exe. It doesn't give me a failure message or something like that, it just doesn't do anything. Though, I have still downloaded the program in your link, but it still doesn't work. I don't know what to do and I'm starting to find this pretty annoying.

 

Please help; what do I do?

Hi Erralive,

 

Before install ROXIO GAME CAPTURE, update this:

 

- Install DIRECTX 9.0c

- Update Video card drivers

- Update Motherboard drivers (Chipset and USB if use USB 3.0)

- Windows Update (all).

 

Optional things:

 

- Disable antivirus

- Disable DEP

- Run COMBOFIX and CCLEANER

- Turn off UAC

 

After this, reinstall RGC software try & reply.

Hello,

I got it to run already! I sent an e-mail to the support. They told me that I had to delete a folder in "regedit" and it worked! So, now the software runs. I'm still having problems with audio, but I think I will have to close this thread and start a new one.

Hello I recently purchased rgc all compoents work, but the software does NOT. I have the same problem as mentioned above any help is welcome.
