How Do I Break An Audio File Into Timed Tracks?

Hi! Weekly I use Adobe Audition to edit our church service. In the past I have then used Nero to manually split it into 5-minute tracks and burn it to a master CD for duplication. I'd really like to stay away from Windows if possible and do this completely on my Mac So the question... how do I use Toast 11 Titanium to take the file I made with Audition, split it into 3-5 minute tracks and burn it to CD?

As far as I know, Toast can’t split sound-files into pieces...?

Use GarageBand, Audacity, Amadeus, or else to split your sound-files...

Then use Toast to burn those tracks to an Audio CD...

This is what Spin Doctor does. However, the one bundled with Toast 11 seems to have a lot of problems. Open the audio file in Spin Doctor, mark the tracks in the waveform and send to Toast. Hopefully this meets your needs. You can set Toast's Preferences so that gaps between tracks are automatically set to zero seconds.
