Can't Add Text Effect, Overla, Video Effect, Or Transition

iddybiddyvideo

Question

Very sorry if this has been covered but couldn't find it in the forum. Working in VideoWave, I am now unable to add the items in the topic title. When I try to add one of these features a window opens and says "There are no items to show in this view". Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

Chances are that you are not using the drop down to select the type of item you want to use.

Do you have the effects seletcor docked? What is your screen resolution?

For text, is this what you are trying?

The way you have worded your question with the word" Now" suggests that perhaps you were able to do it before and not now. Is that correct?

Thanks for your help. Please see attached screen shot.

Get rid of any and all registry cleaners ! :(

Turn off your anti-virus software, put the program disc in your optical drive and when the option comes up, do a repair.

Something told Video Wave to forget where the content was located. This used to happen frequently and usually related to registry cleaners. Did you make any changes to your computer lately - updates, new programs, move items around on your hard disc?

In the future, just post the image on this site rather than a link to it.

Cant' think of anything changed with regard to registry cleaners. I did have the thought that program file has lost the directory to the content. I don't have a disk as I downloaded the program from Roxio. I have tried to open Control Panel/Programs/Repair but I can't locate the file that's needed for the repair. Thanks.

What do you mean you can't locate the C2010 download?

Is it on your hard drives somewhere?

Did you extract the download in a folder and burn a copy to DVD media?

Sorry, didn't make myself clear. I can locate the download but apparently the file that is needed for repair is inside a compressed file needs to be extracted. Something called BurnMGR.

Make a folder, move the compressed download into the folder and extract it.

If you need a utility to do that #16 in my signature..

SUCCESS! #16 did the trick and I truly appreciate the response from you and others in this forum. Thanks so much for all the help you provide to me and others who are having problems.
