Adding Music To A Picture Dvd

MGWalker

Question

I want to add music to my picture DVD playback. I have added the pictures I want to burn to a DVD, but I also wanted to add music as a backround. I have the music I want to use saved as MP3s - yet I don't see how the music can be added to the playback. If I may ask - please keep any solutions in the KISS format - Keep It Simple For Stupid :)

If you simply have a picture DVD, then you really can't do it. Read your DVD player manual.

If you want music to go along with the pictures, you must author a video DVD. Start with Video Wave, add your pictures, add the music on one or more audio tracks, save the production, open Create DVD and burn your production.

You could use (not many people recommend it) the slide show assistant. That will add the music also but it is limited. You will still need to burn the production to a DVD as a video DVD.

Note that the video DVD will have a resolution of 720 by 480 lines; far below what you would see on a "piciture disc".

Post back if you want some other recommendations.
