Error In Hd Burn

nomark

Question

I created a format of MP4 as 1920x1080i and tried to burn using MyDVD.

But I got this error after 100% completed msg with AVCHD format to ISO file. A size was barely 2GB include menu and chapters that is enough for a single DVD

I don't see any update on my 2011 version either.

please advice me.

yup. I originally followed for that URL and created one AVCHD successfully, but second one that has very short movie (almost half of the first one) got this error over and over..

I think an error msg should have some meaningful indication of wrong doing/conflict sort of to End user, not for programmer.

thanks.

If you already made one successfully using that procedure, then you have to start looking at the video file.

I think Roxio needs their own products at this point rather than MyDVD, Video Wave, third party S/W their bought.

Their developers didn't know much of internal logic/details of s/w they bought and they are dealing with.

As Jim mentioned above url, "prepare install" stuff, I believe you have to hire MS geek to do it.

I hope Roxio prepare to "Anyone who have PC(not Mac) install Roxio can make Movie from Photo(JPG,BMP) or movie(MP4,MP2 or AVI)from camera"

Is this clear enough ? please don't say, check Driver version,Video card,s/w patch, C++ runtime, your mother-in-law's diskette , etc...

Simply interface they made from each pieces has TOO MANY holes !

Do you agree ?

I hope Roxio see my post.

Have a nice day !

Roxio will not see your rant. Call them. You have a flagship product and they will hlp you out. Since you are unwilling to take suggestions here, then perhaps this thread can be closed. It works for most of us.

The only other thing that is suspect is the Phoenician writing within the error message <_<

Your OS is installed and running only One Language, isn’t it?

Wouldn’t hurt a thing to run the Repair procedure:

Do the Prep Steps to the letter!

Then start to install of the Suite, only pick Repair when it is offered…

Use Video Copy & Covert to convert your files to mpeg2 HD.

Then start a new project with that.

File size is meaningless... In video we talk in TIME.

Movie is only 15 Minutes long and 2GB of extra room is more than enough I guess.

From system requirements:

DVD and BD copy, video editing and authoring may require large amount of free disk space, up to 10's of GB

2 GB may not be enough

sorry. I was talking about a DVD capacity because ISO format allows max to 4.7GB for normal DVD capacity.

As I found, ROXIO got a same error if ISO format file size over 4.7GB. but my files size around 2GB and 15 minutes long.

I think MyDVD put a whole movie even I split and deleted some of beginning scenes to accommodate 4.7GB limit using MyDVD Edit, not by Video Wave.

My actual MP4 file size is around 5GB before MyDVD Edit.

please advice me.

Size is irrelivant... ;) TIME!

You need to try what I suggested. Something has to change or you will get the same error until you do

I think Daithi thought you're "2 GB" was refering to your HDD space available... That would be a problem if that were all the free space you had

That error sometimes shows up when people are making an AVCHD disc or a blu-ray disc. If that is what you are doing ,read this.

Remember that if you are making an AVCHD disc, you can get only about 45 minutes or so on a disc. Blu-ray, of course can get much more.

If you are making a standard definition disc, perhaps the wrong type of disc was chosen in the Create DVD application. No one has indicated that they saw this error in standardd definition discs.

I have 1TB available in this HDD. Oh boy, I tried every way you mentioned(mp2,avi,etc...) too. simply exhausted. sorry folks. I don't want to waste more time with Roxio.

I'll use simple Google picasa slideshow instead.

if someone explain this unreadable error msg to me, I would be so happy.
