No Video Signal And Software Ceases Responding

Question

The main reason I purchased this product is to copy my old VHS movies (purchased, not home filmed). I am using an older VHS player, Magnavox, model VR3440. When I click on record DVD I get a no video signal message, but get the sound for a short while, then my computer locks up and I have to re-boot.

I don't think "Easy" should be in the name of this product.

You may be running up against the copyright/encryption on the commercial tapes. Since it is illegal to break the protection, Roxio will not do it.
