Roxio Game Capture? Can It Be Used For Pc?

I just wanted to ask if anyone has or knows if you can use the Roxio game capture for pc gaming. Wether the gameplay is recorded to the same computer or to another dedicated unit?

There is a separate application for capturing PC gaming.

Although there's no dedicated hardware to record gameplay?

 

Basically with most applications that record gameplay it causes massive stuttering and poor framerate. If it does happen to run fine, quality usually suffers.

Do Roxio offer trial version for PC Game Capture software? I would like to give it a try before buying the product. I would be better to give it a try and see how it works since I have encountered a lot of problems from other products same as Roxio, but I guess Roxio is much better though.
