To change the filter settings, click the Filter for Media types Button." i have been to every settings menu. project settings screen give me the option to change the video setting from MPEG-2 to something else, but the link isn't active. \ just bought this today from staples and registered it and for something so easy (seemingly), i'm having a heck of a time. thanks for the help! abe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This forum is for non-Roxio related topics. i am using roxio easy CD and DVD burning software. it's sort of like roxio lite. it says on the back of the box that it supports windows7 home premium, which i have. i hope this helps and i'm sorry i didn't include that information initially. abe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So you're using Easy CD & DVD Burning, and it will probably be version 10.3. Can you tell us please what program in the suite you're using, that gives you the error message you posted? If it's easier to describe, tell us what menu items you go through to get to where you see that error, thanks. thank you for your very nice reply. i will try to make this clearer. i selected the video option and then MyDVD Express. i then click on "Add a Movie" and my files appear on the left hand side. i select a video file and receive the message that i've previously posted. perhaps i have to convert avi's into another format before i can burn them to disk. sadly, the booklet that came with the program is lacking in information. i hope this helped. abe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
