Roxio Game Capture - Audio Problems

My captures have the same loud distorted game volume in addition to a white flickering on the video (that does not appear on my tv). Basically, this device never worked for me.

I read somewhere on these forums that Roxio may have an update coming out in December. But I have no idea if this is true and wether it will fix any of the issues.

If you are still able to return it for a refund, I would consider it strongly. Cause once the 30 days is up, it's up and you are stuck with it. This is assuming you bought the device from Roxio, other websites, check their return policies.

Yeah, it's a bummer. But so far, there is no real solution for the various problems this device has. That I have seen anyway.

Good luck.

Yea... This Roxio Device works for one whole day and then it goes back to loud noise. There's a code within the drivers that's triggering it. But, Roxio doesn't want to look into it. *sigh* Sadly, this isn't an issue for MAC users.

wow well that's pathetic. can i send it back and get my money back?

You would have to ask Roxio to get an answer that question.

The other thing to do is turn down the volume coming from your game console. (You'll need to turn up the volume on your TV to compensate.)

I agree.

Go to Windows Sound tab and set your RGC volume to 0. In any source (Consoles as example) turn your volume to minimum (1). Its will make the sound more "normal" in record (50% minus louder).

Its a no fix but will help to your records.

The only temporary solution at the moment is to completely uninstall Roxio and then reinstall it.

But it's only a temporary solution, as I have had to do this five times already since I bought it a month ago.

I've given up trying to use as the problem keeps coming back and nothing seems to be getting done about fixing it...

I can't speak for PS3 users, but I've tried it with four different pc's and 3 different Xbox 360's an the extremely loud audio happens on all of them when played through Roxio.

i uninstalled the software and re installed and the problem is still there? do i have to do it again?

Okay although that is not exactly what I wanted to hear, I will take it to consideration and try to fix. THANK YOU SO MUCH
